Shape Up Us Partners with Munchkin Programs for World’s Largest Pickleball Lesson in Northeast Valley

Shape Up Us and Munchkin Programs are teaming up to bring the world’s largest pickleball lesson to the Northeast Valley, and it’s all for free! Mark Miller, the founder of Munchkin Programs, is on a mission to introduce kids ages 3-12 to the sport of pickleball, which has been gaining popularity among adults.

The event is set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 2, at McDowell Mountain Ranch in Scottsdale. Registration is required, but the lesson is free for all participants. Those interested can contact Jyl Steinback at jyl@shapeupus.org or visit shapeupus.org for more information and to register.

In addition to the pickleball lesson, Shape Up Us is hosting a Family Fun Community Event at McDowell Mountain Ranch on the same day. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., attendees can enjoy a variety of activities such as inflatables, rock climbing walls, hula hoop contests, face painting, and Ninja Warrior activities.

Shape Up Us is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting health and wellness for children, families, and communities. They have partnered with USA Pickleball and the McDowell Mountain Ranch Pickleball Association for this event. Admission is free for all ages, so bring the whole family and join in on the fun!

Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn pickleball and enjoy a day of family-friendly activities. Registration for the pickleball lesson is open until Saturday, Oct. 19, so sign up now to secure your spot!
