Arizona Makes History with Largest Pickleball Lesson Ever, Over 300 Youngsters Attend
Arizona made history as over 300 youngsters attended the largest pickleball lesson ever in the desert city of Scottsdale. Mark Miller, a pickleball proponent, led the event to introduce the sport to kids from various cities in the region.
Pickleball’s popularity continues to soar, with plans for the world’s largest pickleball facility underway in Scottsdale. The sport, once dominated by seniors, has now become a favorite among youngsters and college students across the US.
The event, organized by Shape Up Us, aimed to build interest in pickleball among the youth and promote social interaction, teamwork, and physical activity. Aaron Von Trojen, CEO of Geneva Financial Home Loans, was also present at the event to support the initiative.
Pickleball offers a fun and engaging way for kids to stay active and build friendships, away from electronic gadgets. With its smaller court size and slower ball speed, pickleball is easy for kids to pick up and enjoy without extensive training.
