Young Life of Manistee County is hosting a pickleball tournament fundraiser on July 12 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Manistee Township pickleball courts. The $35 entry fee supports sending local middle and high school students to Young Life Camp at Timber Wolf Lake, which costs $565 per student. The tournament welcomes players of all skill levels, offers food and drinks, and is managed by Young Life student volunteers, aiming to unite the community while raising funds for a meaningful youth experience.
Since 2021, Young Life has provided local students with opportunities to grow, have fun, and explore faith through ongoing programs like the Wyldlife Club and Campaigners Bible Study. Area director Luke Trombley emphasizes the event’s role in bringing the community together to support youth and witness the positive impact of Young Life’s ministry.
