Wolf Creek Pickleball Club Fundraiser Seeks Donations to Upgrade Courts in Beaman and Conrad
The Wolf Creek Pickleball Club is on a mission to upgrade and complete pickleball courts in Beaman and Conrad, and they need your help to reach their $75,000 goal by November 30th. With the growing popularity of pickleball nationwide, the club is seeking donations to resurface the courts in Beaman and finish the courts in Conrad to provide safe and quality playing surfaces for the communities.
The project has already received significant support from businesses, organizations, and community members, with Conrad and Beaman officials also investing in the courts. The funds raised will be split between the two towns, with Beaman focusing on repairing cracks, resurfacing, and adding new lines, while Conrad will use the money to finish the new project with an acrylic surface and lines.
Pickleball is a family-friendly and affordable recreational activity that is gaining popularity across the country. With around 9 million players in the United States, the sport is attracting people of all ages. The courts in Beaman and Conrad see daily use, especially in the summer, and are becoming a sought-after amenity for residents and potential newcomers.
If the fundraiser exceeds its goal, additional improvements such as fencing for the Conrad courts or expanding the Beaman courts to meet USA Pickleball Association standards could be possible. Donations are tax-deductible and can be mailed to PO Box 414 in Conrad, with checks payable to Conrad Chamber Main Street and “Pickleball Project” in the memo.
The deadline for donations is fast approaching, so join the Wolf Creek Pickleball Club in their efforts to enhance the pickleball experience in Beaman and Conrad. Your support will make a difference in the community and help promote an active and inclusive recreational activity for all.
