Exciting Opportunities for Youth Athletes in Dixon, CA – Register Now!
With the new year in full swing, Dixon Girls Softball is gearing up for another exciting season. The nonprofit youth sports organization is dedicated to teaching softball fundamentals and life skills through sportsmanship, leadership, positive coaching, and peer-to-parent communication. Regular registration has already ended, but there is still time to sign up for late registration until Jan. 15 for $250.
Established in 2006, Solo Rugby Club is also offering opportunities for youth in Solano and Yolo counties. With a focus on developing players with strong character and core values such as teamwork, commitment, and integrity, the club is a great option for those interested in rugby. Rugby camps have already been held, with more on the way, and regular practices are in the works.
For those looking to stay active during the winter months, Winter Indoor Pickleball is available every Saturday from Jan. 4 to March 1 at John Knight Middle School. Open to all ages, participants can play on any of the open courts for $5 at the door. Children under 14 should be accompanied by an adult.
