Northbrook Park District Winter and Spring Programs Registration Opens November 27, 2024
The Northbrook Park District is gearing up for an exciting 2025 with a wide range of classes and programs for residents to enjoy. From fitness classes to youth sports opportunities, there is something for everyone to get involved in.
One highlight is the Techny Prairie Activity Center, which offers state-of-the-art facilities including group fitness classes, a fitness floor, an indoor walking track, and more. New programs for 2025 include Nourish and Flourish cooking workshops, Fit Fore Golf strength and conditioning programs, and PicklePower agility and endurance training for pickleball players.
For those interested in ice sports, the Northbrook Sports Center features two NHL-sized ice rinks and offers classes in figure skating, speedskating, and ice hockey. The Leisure Center also provides programs in dance and visual arts for all ages, including Sunshine Preschool for young children.
In addition to the regular programs, the park district also hosts special events throughout the year, such as the upcoming Holiday Craft Fair and Shine: A Chanukah Celebration. Looking ahead to 2025, there will be events like the Light Up the Night Family Dance, Winter Scavenger-Ganza, Brunch with the Bunny, and Spring Tea.
