Exciting New Pickleball League Launching at Riverwind Park in Coon Rapids, Minnesota!
The pickleball craze is hitting Coon Rapids, Minnesota, with the launch of the Monday Pickleball Ladder League at Riverwind Park. Starting on April 28 and running until July 7, 2025, this league organized by Minnesota Pickleball offers players a chance to showcase their skills in a competitive yet friendly environment.
Players will compete individually in a structured ladder format, where they will move up or down based on their performance. The cost to participate is $65 per player, with matches scheduled every Monday at 5:30 p.m. Each session is expected to last around two to three hours, providing ample playing time for all participants.
The league follows a unique format where players are placed in pools based on their rating and compete against others with similar skills. Results from each match will be recorded in the Swish Sports app and posted on the Minnesota State Pickleball website. Players are required to set up a free DUPR account and download the Swish Sports app before the first session.
In case of inclement weather or poor air quality, league coordinators will notify participants of any cancellations at least two hours before the start time. Refunds are available until one week before the league begins, with partial refunds issued if five or more sessions are canceled due to weather.
