This project is a generous donation from the team involved in recent infrastructure upgrades for the Westville Correctional Center, a collaboration between the Indiana Department of Corrections, Indiana Finance Authority, and the town. Multiple local companies and labor groups are contributing materials, labor, and expertise to create this recreational space, demonstrating a strong community spirit and commitment to giving back.
Westville Town Council President Michael Albert highlighted the courts as a symbol of building community alongside infrastructure. The facility is anticipated to be completed and open for public use by the end of August, providing residents and visitors with a new venue for recreation and social engagement.
