Valpo Parks has awarded the construction bid for six new pickleball courts at ValPlayso Park to Hasse Construction as part of its $10 million rePLAY initiative. The project, aimed at enhancing recreational opportunities, will begin on April 14, 2025, and is expected to be completed by late July 2025. This addition reflects the growing popularity of pickleball and Valpo Parks’ commitment to providing diverse and accessible amenities for the community.
The rePLAY initiative focuses on improving accessibility, infrastructure, safety, and sustainability across Valpo Parks, including upgrades to playgrounds, restrooms, shelters, and sports fields. Valpo Parks acknowledges the contributions of V3 Companies for design and engineering and Berglund Construction for advisory support.
