UTSA Women’s Basketball Standout Jordyn Jenkins Named to 2025 Women’s College All-Star Game Watch List

TAMPA, Fla. – Exciting news for UTSA women’s basketball as redshirt senior Jordyn Jenkins has been selected to represent the team on the 2025 Women’s College All-Star Game Watch List presented by Herbalife. Jenkins is one of 70 players chosen for this prestigious honor, and the lone pick from The American conference.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of Jenkins being named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Year Midseason Watch List. Throughout the season, Jenkins has been a standout player, earning multiple accolades including five-time American Athletic Conference Player of the Week, NCAA Starting Five selections, and a USBWA National Player of the Week award. She has also been recognized by The Associated Press and is in the running for the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year award.

Jenkins has been a force on the court this season, averaging 18.8 points per game, along with 7.2 rebounds, 28 steals, and 25 blocks. She boasts an impressive 48.4% field goal percentage and an 82.9% free throw percentage. Under her leadership, the Roadrunners have achieved an 18-3 record and a 9-1 conference mark, leading the league.

A panel of national media experts carefully selected Jenkins for the watch list, identifying her as a student-athlete with the potential to compete in the national showcase on Apr. 5 in Tampa, Florida, alongside the Final Four. The event will be televised on ESPN2 and will feature the top senior standouts on the cusp of entering the WNBA Draft. Out of the 70 players on the watch list, 20 will ultimately be chosen to participate in the game.

Fans can view the complete watch list on the event’s website at www.womenscollegeallstar.com. The final roster for the event will be announced the week of the game. Participants in the Women’s College All-Star Game will be players who have either exhausted their eligibility or will forego their remaining eligibility.
