Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh – The state-level Ace Cup Pickleball Championship at Ace Club has reached an exhilarating climax, with the final matches set to showcase the best talent in the sport. Held at the Ace Academy courts in Salaiya, the tournament has captivated fans with its high-quality play and intense competition.
In the men’s singles category, Utkarsh Dubey and Bhavesh Gaur have advanced to the championship match after delivering impressive performances in the semi-finals. Dubey showcased remarkable control, defeating Jayant Solanki in straight sets with a score of 11-3. Gaur mirrored this dominance, overcoming Siddharth Rai with a solid 11-6 victory. The upcoming final promises to be a thrilling encounter between these two in-form players.
The mixed doubles final will feature an exciting showdown between the teams of Utkarsh and Aditi and Vaibhav and Abhiruchi. In a nail-biting semi-final, Utkarsh and Aditi edged out Divya and Priyank with a close score of 11-9, while Vaibhav and Abhiruchi displayed excellent teamwork to secure their spot by defeating Shubhee and Jayant 11-4.
In the beginners’ combined doubles category, the duo of Meet and Ansh advanced confidently to the finals, where they will face Anuj Uprety and Rizwan Khan. Uprety and Khan demonstrated resilience in their semi-final match, narrowly defeating Shubhee and Lakshya with a score of 11-9.
The beginners’ men’s singles category also reached its conclusion, with Rizwan Khan earning a spot in the final after a commanding 11-3 victory over Shubhee. He will face Anuj Uprety, who showcased excellent court coverage in his 11-8 win against Hrithik.
Tournament Organising Secretary Aditya Sur expressed his satisfaction with the high standard of play and sportsmanship displayed throughout the competition.
