Life Time to Host Professional Pickleball Tournament with Top Players from Around the World
The Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) is gearing up for an exciting tournament that will bring together hundreds of amateur and professional pickleball players from around the world. With more than 4,000 spectators expected to attend, the tournament promises to showcase some of the best players in America’s fastest-growing sport.
Top pickleball professionals from countries such as Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and more will be competing, including the impressive mother-daughter team of Leigh Waters and Anna Leigh Waters, who is only 15 years old and already a top three female professional player. Collin Johns, ranked #5 in the world, will also be participating in the tournament.
The event will take place at Life Time’s premier Rancho San Clemente destination, featuring eight pickleball courts and a center court with stadium seating. The PPA Tour, founded in 2018, has quickly become a leading provider of professional and amateur pickleball events for players of all ages. In 2022, the tour is expected to welcome over 30,000 players and award more than $3 million in payouts.
