MLP Playoffs Recap: Dallas Flash and Texas Teams Advance to Semis

Hurricane Tyra Black was a force to be reckoned with for the Dallas Flash at the Major League Pickleball (MLP) playoffs this past weekend. The first round/quarterfinals of the 2024 MLP playoffs were held at Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas, where some intense matches took place.

In the Premier League playoffs, Dallas faced off against New York in a thrilling match. After a rocky start, Dallas managed to come from behind and secure a spot in the semi-finals. On the other hand, DC and Texas battled it out, with Texas pulling off an upset to advance to the next round.

In the Challenger League playoffs, Miami and Atlanta emerged victorious, securing spots in the semi-finals and earning auto-promotion to the Premier league for 2025. Player stats analysis revealed standout performances from Dallas’ Black and Ge, as well as Miami’s Vich.
