Celebrating the Grand Opening of the New Gymnasium at Spurlino Family YMCA in Tampa
The Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA is making waves with the grand opening of the new gymnasium at the Spurlino Family YMCA. The ribbon-cutting event on January 9 was a star-studded affair, with Tampa YMCA and community leaders in attendance to witness the unveiling of the state-of-the-art facility.
The 18,345-square-foot gymnasium is set to make a big impact in the community, providing space for over 500 more families to participate in YMCA programs. From summer camps to adult sports leagues, the new gymnasium will offer a wide range of activities to cater to the diverse interests of its members.
Jarrod Williams, executive director of the Spurlino YMCA, expressed his excitement about the new addition, highlighting its potential to create lasting memories for members of all ages. The gymnasium, built by Creative Contractors and designed by FleischmanGarciaMaslowski, is set to become a hub for community engagement and wellness.
Located at 9650 Old Big Bend Rd. in Riverview, the Spurlino Y gymnasium is now open for programming and events. To celebrate the grand opening, the Spurlino Family YMCA and all Tampa YMCA centers are offering a limited-time promotion for new members, with a $0 join fee until January 15 and a $5 join fee from January 16 to January 31.
