The inaugural season of the LawStrings Pickleball Premier League (LPPL), India’s first pickleball tournament exclusively for legal professionals, concluded with high energy and strong camaraderie among participants. Hosted by LawStrings Management, the event featured competitive teams representing various legal franchises. The Gold Cup was won undefeated by Smash Squad, owned by Senior Advocate Sonia Mathur, while Legal Pickle and Net-workers secured the Silver and Bronze Cups respectively. Other notable teams included Lex Saviours, Amicus Aces, Supreme Strikers, Pickle Pleaders, and Sood’s Smashers.
Winners received premium pickleball gear and vouchers sponsored by HEAD and Hudle, with the top teams awarded paddles, grips, wristbands, and credit vouchers. The tournament was officially supported by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), the national federation recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The opening and closing ceremonies were graced by prominent legal figures including Justice Vidya Bhushan Gupta (Retd), Senior Advocates Dr. S. Muralidhar, and Sacchin Puri, who presented the Gold Cup to the champions.
