Shape Up Us Partners with Munchkin Programs for World’s Largest Pickleball Lesson in Northeast Valley
Shape Up Us and Munchkin Programs are teaming up to bring the world’s largest pickleball lesson to the Northeast Valley, and it’s all for free! Mark Miller, the founder of Munchkin Programs, is on a mission to introduce kids ages 3-12 to the sport of pickleball, which has been gaining popularity among adults. The event is set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 2, at McDowell Mountain Ranch in Scottsdale.
Registration is now open for this exciting event, where kids can learn the basics of pickleball from experienced instructors. But that’s not all – Shape Up Us is also hosting a Family Fun Community Event at the same location, featuring a variety of activities like inflatables, rock climbing walls, hula hoop contests, face painting, and Ninja Warrior activities.
Shape Up Us, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting health and wellness in children and families, has partnered with USA Pickleball and the McDowell Mountain Ranch Pickleball Association to make this event possible. Admission is free for all ages, so bring the whole family and join in on the fun!
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to learn pickleball and enjoy a day of family-friendly activities. Register now for the pickleball lesson before the deadline on Saturday, Oct. 19. For more information and to sign up, visit shapeupus.org or contact Jyl Steinback at jyl@shapeupus.org.
