Shape Up Us Partners with Munchkin Programs for World’s Largest Pickleball Lesson in Northeast Valley – Registration Now Open

The world’s largest pickleball lesson is coming to the Northeast Valley, thanks to a partnership between Shape Up Us and Munchkin Programs. Mark Miller, the founder of Munchkin Programs, is bringing his expertise in teaching sports to kids to introduce pickleball to children in the Scottsdale area.

Pickleball, a sport that has gained popularity among adults, is now being introduced to kids ages 3-12 through this free event. The lesson is set to take place on Saturday, Nov. 2, at McDowell Mountain Ranch in Scottsdale. Registration is required, and interested participants can contact Jyl Steinback at jyl@shapeupus.org for more information.

In addition to the pickleball lesson, Shape Up Us is hosting a Family Fun Community Event at McDowell Mountain Ranch on the same day. The event will feature various activities for community members to enjoy, including inflatables, rock climbing walls, hula hoop contests, face painting, and Ninja Warrior activities.

Shape Up Us, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting health and wellness in children, families, and communities, has partnered with USA Pickleball and the McDowell Mountain Ranch Pickleball Association for this event. Admission is free for all ages, and everyone is welcome to participate in the community event.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn pickleball and have a fun-filled day with your family and friends. Register now for the pickleball lesson before the deadline on Saturday, Oct. 19, and get ready to be a part of history with the world’s largest pickleball lesson in the Northeast Valley.
