ServeClub Secures Seed Funding to Propel India’s Pickleball Revolution

ServeClub Scores Big with Seed Funding to Propel India’s Pickleball Revolution

June 4, 2025 – In a significant boost for the burgeoning pickleball scene in India, ServeClub, a promising homegrown brand specializing in pickleball equipment, has successfully secured seed funding to enhance its operations and product offerings. The funding round attracted notable investors, including Manish Poddar, Co-founder of Rare Rabbit; Pratham Mittal, Founder of Masters’ Union and Tetr; and Malika Sadani, Co-founder of The Moms Co.

Founded in 2024 by a diverse group of students from the US, Cuba, Mexico, Germany, and India at Tetr College of Business, ServeClub aims to democratize access to high-quality sports gear for the rapidly expanding pickleball community in India. The brand offers USAPA-certified pickleball paddles priced between INR 7,000 and INR 9,000—almost half the cost of leading international brands.

The newly acquired funds will be strategically allocated to product development, expanding distribution channels, and strengthening partnerships within the sports ecosystem. Currently, ServeClub collaborates with over 25 pickleball-focused entities, including courts, clubs, and fitness brands, and is targeting a 20–25% monthly sales growth over the next two quarters.

“I am excited to lead the seed round for ServeClub, a brand that is filling a significant gap in the Indian sports equipment market,” said Manish Poddar. “The rapid growth of pickleball presents a unique opportunity to offer high-quality, affordable gear tailored for Indian players.”

Echoing this sentiment, Malika Sadani emphasized the importance of community engagement, stating, “Their focus on building strong partnerships will be key drivers in scaling the sport’s reach.”

ServeClub’s innovative go-to-market strategy encompasses not only direct-to-consumer sales but also community engagement initiatives, grassroots tournaments, and immersive experiences designed to promote pickleball and solidify its presence across urban and semi-urban India.

“Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in India, yet access to quality, affordable gear remains limited,” said Jeet Totla, Co-founder of ServeClub. “With this funding, we aim to expand our product line, deepen our court and club partnerships, and build India’s most trusted pickleball brand.”

This investment marks a pivotal moment for ServeClub, aligning with the broader wave of India’s sports-tech and recreational activity boom. As pickleball continues to gain traction among both youth and adults, ServeClub is poised to emerge as a leading force in its nationwide adoption.

Stay tuned as ServeClub sets out to transform the landscape of pickleball in India, making the sport more accessible and enjoyable for all.
