ServeClub Secures Seed Funding to Revolutionize Pickleball Gear in India
New Delhi, India – ServeClub, a burgeoning homegrown pickleball gear brand, has successfully secured seed funding from a group of distinguished industry leaders, including Manish Poddar, Co-founder of Rare Rabbit; Pratham Mittal, Founder of Masters’ Union and Tetr; and Malika Sadani, Co-founder of The Moms Co. This strategic investment marks a significant milestone for the startup, which aims to democratize access to premium sports equipment in India.
Founded in 2024 by a diverse team of students from the US, Cuba, Mexico, Germany, and India at Tetr College of Business, ServeClub is on a mission to make high-quality pickleball gear accessible to all. The brand offers USAPA-certified pickleball paddles priced between INR 7,000 and INR 9,000—approximately half the cost of leading international competitors.
The newly acquired funds will be directed towards product development and expanding ServeClub’s reach across India through both online and offline channels. With over 25 partnerships already established with pickleball courts, clubs, and fitness brands, ServeClub is poised to grow its monthly sales by 20–25% over the next two quarters. The startup also plans to enhance its direct-to-consumer operations and organize community engagement events to promote the sport.
"I am excited to lead the seed round for ServeClub, a brand that is filling a significant gap in the Indian sports equipment market," said Manish Poddar. "The rapid growth of pickleball presents a unique opportunity to offer high-quality, affordable gear tailored for Indian players."
Malika Sadani echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of community engagement in scaling the sport’s reach. "Their focus on building strong partnerships will be key drivers in this endeavor," she noted.
Jeet Totla, Co-founder of ServeClub, highlighted the challenges faced by pickleball enthusiasts in India. "Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in India, yet access to quality, affordable gear remains limited. With this funding, we aim to expand our product line, deepen our court and club partnerships, and build India’s most trusted pickleball brand."
As pickleball continues to gain traction across the nation, ServeClub is well-positioned to lead the charge in making the sport more accessible and enjoyable for players of all levels. With a commitment to quality and community, the brand is set to redefine the landscape of sports gear in India.
