Safe Schools For Alex, a nonprofit established in memory of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting victim Alex Schachter, is organizing a Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser on April 24, 2025. The event will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Diadem Pickleball Complex in Coconut Creek and features a ladder-style doubles format with skill-based matching. Open to all ages and genders, the tournament encourages solo sign-ups for both beginners and experienced players, with a $100 entry fee per player.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will support Safe Schools For Alex’s mission to enhance school safety by providing updated resources and best practices to students, parents, school districts, and law enforcement across the country.
