Monsoon Pickleball Championship Day 1 Winners Crowned by Global Sports
The Monsoon Pickleball Championship kicked off with a bang on its first day, with winners emerging in seven categories of the championship organized by Global Sports. Ritesh Jaiswal and Anjali Pol emerged victorious in the Advance Men’s and Women’s Singles categories, while Niten Kirtane and Shakks Devnani dominated the 50+ Men’s and Women’s categories.
The tournament, held at NESCO from August 20-25, promises to be even bigger and better than before, with Westin Mumbai Garden City coming on board as hospitality partners. Day two of the championship will see eight more categories being played, adding to the excitement of the event.
One of the highlights of day two will be an exhibition match featuring top international players such as Jay DeVilliers, Quang Duong, Ryler DeHeart, and more. This unique opportunity will allow aspiring and intermediate pickleball players in India to learn from some of the best talent in the sport.
With a total prize money of $100,000 up for grabs across 47 categories, the Monsoon Pickleball Championship powered by Vedanta is set to be a thrilling event. Global Sports, the organizers of the championship, have established themselves as leaders in the world of Pickleball in India, with support from prestigious partners ensuring the success of the MCP 2024.
