Pickleball, the fastest-growing sport in the U.S. with about 50 million adult players last year, is attracting attention from major brands like Parsons Xtreme Golf (PXG). Known for its golf equipment, PXG is entering the pickleball market with two new paddles, the XP1 and XP2, designed to appeal to both casual and experienced players. This crossover is notable as nearly one-third of golfers also play pickleball, generating excitement around PXG’s innovative approach.

The XP1 and XP2 paddles feature a polyurethane honeycomb core for energy transfer and vibration dampening, combined with a 3K woven carbon fiber surface that enhances ball grip and control. The XP1 offers a standard shape with a larger sweet spot suitable for all skill levels, while the XP2 has an elongated design with a higher sweet spot aimed at advanced players. Both paddles are available online and in select stores, marking PXG’s promising entry into the pickleball gear market.
