The highly anticipated PWR DUPR India League, scheduled to take place in Mumbai from March 17-23, 2025, has been delayed once again, leaving fans and players in suspense. The Pickleball World Rankings (PWR) Team Event, which was set to be a global showcase for pickleball talent, has been postponed indefinitely.
The decision to delay the league was made by team owners, who expressed the need for more time to understand the sport, scout players, and develop marketing strategies. Additionally, organizers wanted to avoid conflicting with the Indian Premier League (IPL), which kicks off on March 22 and attracts a massive audience. Pranav Kohli, Founder and CEO of PWR, emphasized the importance of the first season and the need to not clash with the IPL.
