Pickleball World Cup Award Winners
The Pickleball World Cup recently concluded with Team Puerto Rico emerging as the champions of the prestigious tournament. The event saw more than 500 picklers from 40 countries showcasing their skills and passion for the sport. Local hero Bruno Semino made history by winning the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award at the World Cup, solidifying his place as a rising star in the pickleball world.
In a post on Instagram, Semino expressed his excitement and gratitude for the Peruvian Team’s silver medal win, highlighting the team’s dedication and improvement throughout the tournament. Additionally, Jerry Beck from the Cayman Islands was honored with the ‘Best Captain’ award, while the Puerto Rican delegation was recognized as the best overall team at the event.
Other notable award winners included Chun-Yu Liu from Chinese Taipei and Arantza Benites from Panama, who received the Fair Play awards in the men’s and women’s categories, respectively. Suraj Desai and Himansh Mehta from India clinched the silver medal in the Open category, showcasing their talent and skill on the pickleball court.
