PickleRage Plans to Open 500+ Clubs Nationwide by 2029
Pickleball enthusiasts across the country are in for a treat as PickleRage, the indoor pickleball franchise, announces its ambitious plans to open over 500 clubs by 2029. With a recent partnership with GreenPeak Venture Partners, PickleRage is set to expand rapidly, with more than 200 new locations slated to open in the next two years.
The franchise is targeting cities in Ohio, Georgia, Illinois, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, and Tennessee for its new clubs. PickleRage prides itself on its state-of-the-art facilities, featuring professional CushionX courts, LED lighting, online reservation systems, and video-equipped courts to help players improve their skills.
“We are beyond thrilled to partner with PickleRage as we work with them on achieving their 2029 vision of opening over 500 locations,” said Jared Feldman, managing principal at GreenPeak Venture Partners. “We couldn’t be more pleased with PickleRage’s progress thus far and are firmly committed to leveraging our resources to help them succeed.”
PickleRage COO David Smith expressed his excitement about the expansion, stating, “With GreenPeak’s support, we will be more equipped than ever to achieve our 2029 vision of opening 500+ clubs nationwide. We look forward to opening our clubs in new communities across the country as we begin this massive expansion effort.”
As PickleRage sets its sights on growth, the pickleball space is becoming increasingly competitive. Other players in the industry, such as Life Time and indoor pickleball franchises The Picklr and Pickleball Kingdom, are also expanding their reach. With pickleball gaining popularity as America’s fastest-growing sport, the competition is heating up.
In addition to the expansion of pickleball clubs, the sport is also making its mark in the retail space. QVC recently inked a multi-year deal with USA Pickleball to sell gear and activewear, as well as air exclusive coverage of the 2024 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships.
With pickleball’s rise in popularity, the future looks bright for PickleRage and other players in the industry as they continue to grow and innovate in the world of indoor sports.
