Apple Unveils Exciting New Year’s Program and Feature Update for Apple Fitness+

Apple is gearing up for a massive New Year’s program and feature update for Apple Fitness+ in 2025, aimed at helping users achieve their fitness goals and lead healthier lifestyles. The tech giant has announced a slew of exciting additions to its popular fitness platform, including new strength programs, a Pickleball course, challenging yoga and meditation sessions, and guest trainers.

One of the standout features of the update is a brand new three-week course of full-body strength workouts, developed by the entire training team at Apple Fitness+. This collaborative effort promises to deliver upbeat and fun sessions that focus on different areas of the body each week, with the program designed to be repeated for consistent results.

In addition to the strength program, Apple is introducing a Pickleball course led by Canadian professional Pickleball ace Catherine Parenteau. The course includes upper and lower body workouts, as well as High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) to help players improve their skills and stamina on the court.

For yoga enthusiasts looking to master challenging poses, Apple is launching the Yoga Peak Poses sessions, which will guide users through mastering poses like Dancer, Twisted Hand to Toe, and Crow. The Introduction to Breath Meditation program will teach users key techniques for incorporating meditation into their daily routines.

Guest trainers like dance sensation Alex Wong will be joining the Apple Fitness+ team, along with new guests for Apple’s Time to Walk podcasts. Additionally, music from top artists like Janet Jackson, Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, and Coldplay will provide the soundtrack for Apple’s music-based workouts.

To enhance the user experience, Apple has partnered with fitness app Strava to share rich data sets from exercise sessions on user profiles. These exciting new features are set to roll out starting January 6, 2025, offering Apple Fitness+ users a fresh and engaging way to kickstart their fitness journey in the new year.
