Tournament director Richard Chambers praised the high standard of play, with athletes from the Lower Mainland, the Interior, and local players showcasing their skills on the court. The event was one of the first tournaments of the season in the province, drawing in a strong field of competitors.

With the help of 30 dedicated volunteers, the tournament ran smoothly with a command center managing scores, schedules, and referees. Ten divisions were contested, with gold medals awarded to the winners in each category based on skill level and age group.
