Dallas Set to Host 2025 Dink Tournament: A Pickleball Extravaganza

Rockwall, Texas – The excitement is building as the World Pickleball Tour (WPT) announces the 2025 Dallas Dink tournament, scheduled for June 20-22 at the Oasis Pickleball Club. This highly anticipated event is part of a nationwide amateur series designed to promote the sport of pickleball through fun and competitive play for non-professional athletes.

The Oasis Pickleball Club, boasting 42 state-of-the-art courts, will welcome amateur players aged 18 and older from across the country. The tournament features age brackets for 19+, 30+, 40+, 50+, and 60+, with the possibility of including players aged 70 and above after registration closes.

Growing the Game: The World Pickleball Tour

The WPT is dedicated to fostering amateur-level play, having hosted 25 events in 2024, with plans to expand to nearly 35 events in 2025. The organization aims to cultivate the sport at the grassroots level, providing high-quality events that encourage participation and skill development.

Tournament Format and Registration

Registration for the Dallas Dink opened on January 1, 2024, and will close on June 15, 2025, at 11:55 p.m. EST. The registration fee is $80, with an additional $70 for initial registration and $30 for each event entered. Players are guaranteed at least six matches, played in a round-robin format, with games to 11 points and requiring a two-point win margin.

The tournament schedule is as follows:

  • Friday: Men’s Singles and Women’s Doubles
  • Saturday: Mixed Doubles
  • Sunday: Men’s Doubles and Women’s Singles

Brackets will be capped at nine players or teams, with potential expansion to 11 if space allows. The final schedule will be released on June 16, 2025.

Perks for Participants

All registered players will receive a WPT Dri-FIT t-shirt, complimentary action photos, and updates on their DUPR scores. For doubles teams, both players must register within two days of each other to avoid being placed on a waitlist. WPT’s refund policy allows for cancellations with a credit toward future events, minus a $30 fee.
