Aloha Pickleball Games & Festival Coming to Hawaii Convention Center Nov. 1-3

The Aloha Pickleball Games & Festival is set to make its debut at the Hawaii Convention Center from Nov. 1 to 3, offering a competitive tournament format along with a fun-filled festival for players of all ages and skill levels.

Organized by Pop Up Pickleball, a division of the Pickleball Management Group, the event will take place on 15 of the center’s 45 new pickleball courts. This marks the first tournament to utilize the new courts at the Hawaii Convention Center, showcasing its commitment to becoming a premier destination for pickleball enthusiasts worldwide.

Participants can expect to follow official USA pickleball tournament rules, with each player guaranteed play time in a round robin format. The top four players from each division will advance to the finals playoff round to compete for tournament-themed awards.

Registration is open until Oct. 23, with entry fees of $80 per person for the first event and $25 per person for the second event. Discounts are available for first-time beginners, junior divisions, and military/veteran players.

Spectators and family members can also enjoy non-tournament-related activities at the Pop Up Pickleball Vendor Village, with each player receiving a gift bag filled with tournament souvenirs, sponsor gifts, and hospitality tickets.

“We are excited to expand the Hawaii Convention Center’s sports courts program to include pickleball, a sport that has seen significant growth in recent years,” said Teri Orton, general manager of the Hawaii Convention Center. “Our new premium pickleball courts play just like championship outdoor courts, and we look forward to hosting our first players during the Aloha Pickleball Games.”

With a focus on providing a memorable experience for all participants, the Aloha Pickleball Games & Festival promises to be a must-attend event for pickleball enthusiasts in Hawaii and beyond.
