Pickle & Pint, a new 32,000-square-foot indoor pickleball facility with a restaurant and bar, has recently opened in Largo, Florida. Co-owned by Zachary Weir, his wife, and father-in-law, the family-friendly venue features 12 indoor pickleball courts along with games like pingpong and cornhole. The facility aims to provide year-round play regardless of weather, filling a gap in the local market where outdoor courts are often busy and weather-dependent. Inspired by similar concepts outside Florida, Pickle & Pint also offers various membership plans with discounts, though casual players can access the courts without a membership.
The choice of Largo was strategic, given its central location near major cities like Clearwater, Tampa, and St. Pete, and its accessibility via the new Gateway Expressway. The opening of Pickle & Pint reflects the growing popularity of pickleball in the region, with other indoor venues and franchises also planned. While currently operating a single location, the owners are open to future expansion depending on the Largo facility’s success.
