National Collegiate Pickleball Association Tournament Draws College Students from Across the Country
College students from universities all over the country gathered at Pictona in Holly Hill for the highly anticipated National Collegiate Pickleball Association Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024. The event showcased the incredible talent and competitive spirit of these young athletes as they battled it out on the courts.
Freddy Ortmann from High Point University displayed his finesse as he dinked the ball over the net, while Grant Tillet from Florida Gulf Coast University showed off his skills with a powerful return serve. Dillan Barr from Kennesaw State and Zack Florendo from Florida State University both demonstrated their agility and precision as they hit the ball with precision.
Ben Hibbs from Palm Beach Atlantic and Gavin Martinez from the same university showcased their teamwork and coordination as they worked together to score points. Tyler Walker from Florida Gulf Coast University impressed the crowd with his jumping shot over the net, while Ava DeHass from the University of Central Florida displayed her strong hitting abilities.
Tyler Reik from the University of Central Florida and Teddy Morin from the University of Maine both showed their determination and focus as they returned shots with precision. Parker Franklin from Florida State University and Kylee Moody from the University of Maine displayed their strategic thinking and quick reflexes as they battled it out on the court.
Jake Bower from the University of Florida and Zoe Routson from the same university both exhibited their speed and agility as they lunged for the ball and dinked it over the net. Zack Florendo from Florida State University once again showed his skill as he dinked the ball over the net with finesse.
