Meet the Coaches of the Pea Ridge Baseball Blackhawks: Matt Easterling, Hayden Sutton, and Andrew Howard

The Pea Ridge baseball Blackhawks are gearing up for an exciting season under the leadership of head coach Matt Easterling, along with assistants Hayden Sutton and Andrew Howard.

Easterling, a Pea Ridge High School graduate, has been a part of the school staff for 19 years and serves as the head baseball coach. He is also a virtual teacher, specializing in physical education and health. With a background in football and baseball, Easterling’s passion for coaching stems from the relationships he has built with his players over the years.

Sutton, a Farmington High School alum, brings his experience as a former student assistant for the Razorback baseball team to the Blackhawks. His favorite sports moment includes celebrating a victory with a dog pile after a super regional game. When he’s not on the field, Sutton enjoys playing golf and spending time on the lake with his family.

Howard, the newest addition to the coaching staff, teaches seventh-grade science and brings a wealth of experience from playing baseball in high school and college. His coaching philosophy centers around developing student athletes and instilling qualities that will help them succeed both on and off the field. Howard’s favorite sports to play in his free time include sand volleyball, Spikeball, Disc Golf, and Pickleball.

As the Blackhawks prepare for the upcoming season, the coaching staff is dedicated to helping their players reach their full potential both on and off the field. With a shared love for the game and a commitment to developing young athletes, Easterling, Sutton, and Howard are ready to lead the Pea Ridge baseball team to success.
