Alabaster City Council Approves Grant Application for Additional Pickleball Courts at Patriots Park
The Alabaster City Council is making strides to meet the growing demand for pickleball in the community by approving a grant application for additional courts at Patriots Park. The decision to add three more pickleball courts comes after the sport has gained popularity nationwide and has been well-received by Alabaster residents at the existing courts.

In addition to the pickleball court expansion, the City Council also approved a bid for improvements to the Waste Water Treatment Plant pumps and agreed to contribute funds to support the 2023 Alabaster Jubilee and 2024 Alabaster CityFest hosted by the Alabaster Arts Council.
