Team India Set to Compete in Pickleball World Cup 2024 in Lima, Peru

The Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) is gearing up for the upcoming Pickleball World Cup 2024 in Lima, Peru, with two teams set to represent India on the global stage. After a rigorous selection process in Ahmedabad, nine talented players have been chosen to compete in the prestigious tournament.

Team India for the Open Category will be led by captain Dhiren Patel and includes top players such as Himansh Mehta, Suraj Desai, Rakshika Ravi, and Anshi Sheth. The Seniors 50+ Category will feature a seasoned lineup with players like Nozer Amalsdiwala, Kiran Salian, Bela Kotwani, and Sujay Parekh.

Pranav Kohli, founder of Pickleball World Rankings, expressed his confidence in the Indian teams, stating, “I am confident that these players will make us proud and return with the Cup.” IPA President Suryaveer Singh Bhullar also shared his pride in the teams, expressing hope that they will bring glory to India.

The partnership between IPA and Pickleball World Rankings has opened up new opportunities for Indian pickleball players, with the launch of the PWR World Series and the upcoming PWR DUPR Indian Tour & League.
