Life Time to Introduce Pickleball Courts and Alpha Area at Luxury Athletic Club in Hell’s Kitchen
Life Time, the country’s largest owner and operator of pickleball courts, is bringing the popular sport to New York City with the addition of indoor courts at Life Time Sky in Hell’s Kitchen. The new space will feature two pickleball courts for open play, classes, tournaments, and more, as well as a dedicated Alpha area for strength and conditioning training.
Construction has already begun on the new courts, with an anticipated opening in early February 2023. The addition of pickleball courts at Life Time Sky adds to the club’s already impressive amenities, which include studios for various fitness classes, a fitness floor, indoor lap pool, rooftop beach club, and more.
Life Time has been rapidly expanding its pickleball offerings, with plans to have over 600 permanent court locations by the end of 2023. The company is also partnering with Major League Pickleball and the Professional Pickleball Association to further promote the sport.
