Manchester Parks and Rec Introduces Exciting Youth Softball Clinics and Pickleball Program
Manchester Parks and Rec is thrilled to unveil two exciting programs aimed at enhancing skills, promoting fitness, and fostering community spirit. Whether you’re a budding softball star or looking to try your hand at a new sport like pickleball, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and benefit from.
Youth Softball Clinics with NH SportsHouse
For young athletes looking to take their softball game to the next level, the Youth Softball Clinics in collaboration with NH SportsHouse are the perfect opportunity. Led by seasoned coach Steve Kraytenberg and a team of expert coaches and college-level players, participants will receive focused training and personalized feedback to help them hone their skills.
The clinics will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 4 to March 27, 2025, with separate sessions for 8-12-year-olds and 13-17-year-olds. Held at the NH SportsHouse facility, athletes will have access to top-notch training amenities, including 20,000 square feet of turf and 12 batting cages.
Beginner’s Intro to Pickleball with Live Free and Pickleball
If you’re looking to try something new and exciting, the Beginner’s Intro to Pickleball program is the perfect fit. This beginner-friendly course will cover everything from court layout to game strategies, allowing participants to build essential skills through interactive drills and gameplay under guided coaching.
The program will take place on Tuesdays from February 4 to February 18, 2025, at the Hallsville School Gymnasium. Manchester residents can register for $50, while non-residents can join for $60, with registration including access to all three sessions and a bonus punch card for open play post-session.
