Holland native Hugh Davis founded Revolin, a Michigan-based company that creates high-performance pickleball paddles using sustainable, eco-friendly materials such as hemp, flax, and volcanic fiber. Inspired by his early involvement in pickleball and research at the University of Michigan, Davis designed paddles that are lightweight, durable, and environmentally conscious, aiming to improve the lifecycle and impact of sporting goods beyond traditional materials like carbon fiber and fiberglass.

Revolin products are available at major retailers like Dick’s Sporting Goods and Pickleball Central, as well as locally in Holland. The company also sponsors prominent events such as the Beer City Open Pickleball Championships in Grand Rapids, a major tournament featuring all 22 professional Major League Pickleball teams, highlighting Revolin’s commitment to supporting the sport and promoting sustainable innovation.
