New Pickleball Kingdom Facility Set to Open in Menomonee Falls
Menomonee Falls is about to become a hotspot for pickleball enthusiasts with the opening of a new business dedicated to the growing sport in America. Pickleball Kingdom, set to open in January, will offer 17 courts in a 60,000-square-foot facility, catering to players of all levels.
The owners of Pickleball Kingdom, including avid players Ray Durbin and Barry Hink, are excited to bring this new opportunity to the community. “The state of Wisconsin overall has a significant interest in playing the game,” said Gregory Straub, owner of Pickleball Kingdom.
While there are already indoor pickleball options available in the area, Pickleball Kingdom aims to provide higher-level options, including hosting tournaments for both intermediate and advanced players. General manager Jen Azevedo highlighted the facility’s king’s court, a stadium court located in the center of the facility.
For players like Ray and Barry, who currently enjoy playing in the parks in Waukesha, the opening of Pickleball Kingdom offers a new and exciting opportunity to take their game to the next level. “I’m sure there are going to be a ton of people that want to go,” said Ray.
With the growing popularity of pickleball, which saw at least 14 percent of the population playing the sport at least once last year, Pickleball Kingdom is poised to become a go-to destination for pickleball enthusiasts in the Menomonee Falls area. So, get your paddles ready and get ready to hit the courts at Pickleball Kingdom in the new year!
