Life Time, the largest provider of permanent pickleball courts in the U.S., is opening its first ground-up pickleball facility, Life Time Pickleball Chanhassen, in early 2024. Located adjacent to its Chanhassen athletic country club in Minnesota, the 25,000-square-foot venue will feature eight indoor and seven outdoor courts, along with amenities like a viewing area, lounge, and dressing rooms. This expansion supports Life Time’s goal of having over 1,000 pickleball courts nationwide by the end of 2024.
Since 2021, Life Time has rapidly grown its pickleball presence, currently operating nearly 600 courts across the country and hosting major tournaments in partnership with professional leagues. The company emphasizes delivering top-tier experiences through events, leagues, training, and its own tournament series, The Pickleball Classic. Life Time continues to lead the sport’s growth by building new courts weekly and integrating social and spectator-friendly features at its facilities.
