Houston to Become Life Time’s Largest Pickleball Market with 100+ Courts
Houston is set to become Life Time’s largest pickleball market with the opening of over 100 courts in the area. The nation’s premier healthy lifestyle brand, Life Time, is expanding its outdoor pickleball offerings with the launch of 22 new courts adjacent to its Kingwood club in Humble, Texas.
The new Life Time Kingwood Outdoor Pickleball development will feature premier courts, multiple viewing areas, and a new pro shop building stocked with pickleball gear and equipment. From JOOLA paddles to Franklin pickleballs, players will have access to everything they need for a great game. The pro shop will also include a LifeCafe and patio seating for players and spectators to enjoy.
Albert Ramos, Life Time’s Houston Area Director, expressed excitement about the growing demand for pickleball in the region. With the addition of the new courts in Kingwood, along with upcoming courts in Sugarland and Champions clubs, Houston is on track to become Life Time’s largest pickleball market in 2024.
Pickleball has seen explosive growth in recent years, with millions of players across the United States. The new Kingwood location will host a Major League Pickleball college players event on September 16th and 17th.

The company’s goal is to exceed 1,000 pickleball courts by the end of 2024, with nearly 600 already in operation across the United States and Canada.
