The Picklr to Bring Indoor Pickleball Courts to Austin and Round Rock in Fall 2024
Pickleball, the sport that has been taking Austin by storm, is set to reach new heights with the arrival of The Picklr, a network of indoor pickleball courts that is planning to open five locations across Austin and Round Rock in the coming year-and-a-half.
The Utah-based franchise, known as North America’s fastest-growing indoor pickleball franchise, is making its mark in the Austin area with the launch of its first two locations simultaneously. One will be located at Round Rock Crossing, while the other will be housed in a former Walmart building in West Austin’s Four Points neighborhood.

The indoor courts will feature outdoor-style surfacing and will offer unlimited league play, tournaments, and open play. The Austin location, in particular, is a standout with its 39,000 square feet of space and 11 courts. The Round Rock location is no slouch either, offering eight courts in 25,000 square feet.
Membership at The Picklr is straightforward, with all players having the same level of access. Bookings are unlimited in frequency, although only one reservation may be held at a time. Members can also take advantage of skill-based clinics and one-on-one lessons for more organized play.
