True North Pickleball Team Challenge: April 12, 2025 in Kingston, Ontario
The True North Pickleball Team Challenge is set to take place on April 12, 2025, at the Kingston Pickleball Club in Kingston, Ontario. This exciting event will feature 8 teams, each with players of varying skill levels, competing in a unique team format.
Registration for the tournament opens on March 3, 2025, and closes on April 1, 2025. The cost to participate is CAD 200.00, and spots are available for players with verifiable self-ratings or official ratings. Interested players can even enter above their current rating by contacting the tournament director.
The tournament will kick off on Friday evening, April 11, with a social event where participants can meet their teams, play games, and enjoy pizza. Saturday, April 12, will see preliminary play with teams split into pools of 4, playing rounds of doubles and team matches.
Sunday, April 13, will feature the playoffs, with teams seeded based on their Saturday results. The top 2 teams from each pool will compete for the A championship, while the bottom 2 teams will play for the B championship.
Registration for the event includes 10 doubles matches, 5 team matches, a team shirt, player gift, meals, and entry into random prize drawings. A refund policy is in place for cancellations before April 3, 2025, with a $10 administration fee.
