Celebrating Legends: Pickleball Hall of Fame Class of 2024 Honours Jardim, Yates, and Gullo
The National Pickleball Hall of Fame has announced its Class of 2024, welcoming three new members into its prestigious ranks. Kyle Yates, Simone Jardim, and John Gullo have all been officially inducted into the Hall of Fame, solidifying their status as pickleball legends.
“The Pickleball Hall of Fame is honoured to welcome these pickleball legends and salute these individuals for their outstanding contributions to the game,” said Stu Upson, Pickleball Hall of Fame President. “Simone and Kyle have had tremendous success at the professional level while John has been a pioneer in the development of our professional game.”
Simone Jardim, a Brazilian-American player, has had an illustrious career, earning numerous accolades and multiple professional titles. In 2021, she achieved the top ranking in women’s doubles alongside her partner, Lucy Kovalova. Kyle Yates, at the age of 29, is the youngest member of the Hall of Fame, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.
John Gullo is widely recognized as a pickleball ambassador for Northern Utah and is renowned for his instrumental role in establishing The Tournament of Champions as the first and highest-paying tournament for professionals. His contributions to the growth and development of the sport have been invaluable.
