The Picklr, a Utah-based indoor pickleball franchise, is opening a new 40,000-square-foot, 13-court facility in northern Utah County this weekend. Located in Saratoga Springs near Lehi, this will be the franchise’s first Utah County location and one of its largest nationwide. The facility boasts advanced amenities such as custom sound baffling, full locker rooms, a player’s lounge, private event and podcast rooms, and two championship-sized courts. This expansion is part of The Picklr’s rapid growth since its first facility opened in 2021, now totaling over 40 locations across 30 states, with more Utah County locations planned.
Pickleball’s popularity has surged nationally and in Utah, which ranks second in the nation for pickleball enthusiasm based on court availability and online interest. Utah County cities like Orem, Mapleton, Springville, and Provo are recognized among the top pickleball hubs in the country. The Picklr Lehi franchise owners expressed excitement about bringing a premier indoor pickleball experience to the community, with a grand opening event scheduled to welcome the public for tours and play.
