Indian Players Shine at World Pickleball Championship, Winning Medals in Multiple Categories

The World Pickleball Championship Series in Mumbai has been a thrilling event for Indian players, as they have showcased their exceptional skills and determination on the court. Across multiple categories, Indian athletes have secured top positions, bringing home a haul of medals.

In the Boys’ Under-14 Advanced Plus category, Neel Linge and Aarisha Aga Choubey claimed the top spots with a gold and silver medal respectively. In the Boys’ Under-18 Advanced Plus category, Ritam Chawla and Shourya Kukrecha impressed with their gold and silver medal wins.

The girls’ competitions were equally exciting, with Anushka Chhabra and Jahnavi Iyer shining in the Under-14 Advanced Plus category, while Agnimitra Bhavatosh Bhattacharya and Naomi Amalsadiwala excelled in the Under-18 category.

The men’s singles competitions saw Rohit Patil and Christian Josua Luna taking home gold and silver in the 19+ Advanced category, while Manickavasagam Sethu and Aditya Doshi impressed in the 35+ category. Gordon Watson and Ajay Kumar dominated the 50+ Men’s Advanced category.

Doubles matches also provided thrilling moments, with Aaradhya Satpute, Neel Linge, Arjun Singh, Naomi Amalsadiwala, and others showcasing their strong partnerships and competitive spirit.

The Mixed Doubles and Women’s Singles categories also saw intense competition, with players like Debbie Dcruz, Samrat Kapur, Kavya J, Pakhi Bhatt, Shraddha Damani, and Sindoor Mittal putting on impressive performances.
