Indian Pickleball Athletes Win Multiple Medals at 2025 International Tournaments in Malaysia and Vietnam

In 2025, Indian pickleball athletes achieved remarkable success at major international tournaments in Malaysia and Vietnam, securing multiple medals across various events. At the Grand Rally International Tournament in Malaysia, Sonu Kumar Vishwakarma won gold in Open Men’s Singles and bronze in Doubles, while Tejas Mahajan earned gold in Men’s Doubles, silver in Singles, and contributed to India’s gold in the Team Event. In the WPC Grand Slam, also in Malaysia, Vishwakarma continued his dominance with another gold in Men’s Singles, and Kuldip Mahajan took bronze. Meanwhile, at the Asian Pickleball University Championship in Da Nang, Vietnam, Indian university players excelled with Vrushali Thakare and Anuja Maheshwari winning silver in Women’s Doubles, Thakare and Vanshik Kapadia securing gold in Mixed Doubles, and Maheshwari with Mayur Patil earning bronze.

The All India Pickleball Association, led by President Arvind Prabhoo, lauded the athletes’ dedication and international achievements, emphasizing their role in inspiring future generations and the association’s commitment to supporting their growth.
