The Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) has officially designated the Franklin X-40 as the official pickleball for India through a new partnership with Franklin Sports, a global sporting goods leader. The Franklin X-40, recognized for its smooth design and durability, has already been used in major IPA events like the 2025 IPA Nationals. IPA President Suryaveer Singh Bhullar emphasized that standardizing equipment is crucial for the sport’s growth, ensuring players nationwide have access to consistent, high-quality gear.
This collaboration aims to strengthen pickleball’s foundation across India by improving game quality and standardizing play. It also supports Franklin Sports’ expansion into Asia’s rapidly growing pickleball market. Manish Rao, Head of Franklin Pickleball India, highlighted the sport’s exciting growth trajectory and the role of the Franklin X-40 in fostering development from local courts to national championships, symbolizing a bright future for Indian pickleball.
