The Pro Volleyball Federation has set its sights on Kansas City for its newest expansion team, set to debut in 2025. Owned by Missy and Kent McCarthy, the team has found a welcoming home in a city that is quickly becoming a hub for professional sports.
With the support of Kansas City Sports Commission and Visit KC CEO, Kathy Nelson, the Pro Volleyball Federation is excited to bring professional women’s volleyball to a region that already boasts a strong volleyball community. With thousands of club players, coaches, and collegiate teams in the area, the new pro team will have plenty of local talent to draw from.
