Hudson Pickle 3rd Annual Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser in Support of Kids’ Club of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow

Hudson Pickle to Host 3rd Annual Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser for Kids’ Club

Hudson Pickle, a local pickleball organization founded by Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow residents Marni Rose and Rich Pacheco, is gearing up for their 3rd annual pickleball tournament fundraiser on Saturday, March 29th at 11 a.m. The event will take place at the Sleepy Hollow High School and Middle School gymnasium, with all proceeds going towards supporting the Kids’ Club of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow.

Pickleball, a sport that has seen a surge in popularity over the past decade, is known for its accessibility to players of all ages and physical abilities. Rose, a recognized USA Pickleball Ambassador, expressed her passion for the sport and its ability to bring people together, stating, “I’m really into growing the sport and getting new people involved. It’s easy to pick up, you can get into it very quickly, and you can spend the rest of your life gaining new skills.”

The Kids’ Club, a charitable organization that supports underserved local youth through various programs and initiatives, has been the beneficiary of Hudson Pickle’s fundraising efforts for the past three years. Jennifer Green, President of the Kids’ Club, expressed her gratitude for the ongoing support, stating, “Kids’ Club is thrilled to again be the beneficiary of Hudson Pickle’s third annual fundraising pickleball tournament. We look forward to another great day of community fun and competition, and are eager to put the funds raised to use.”

With the support of local sponsors and volunteers, the past two tournaments have raised over $4,000 each, totaling almost $10,000 in donations to the Kids’ Club. This year, the event will feature new youth divisions in addition to the original skill level categories, providing a fun and competitive environment for players of all levels.

For those interested in participating or supporting the event, donations of varying amounts come with different perks, including T-Shirts, shout outs during the event, and free sign-ups. Local sponsors can get involved by visiting hudsonpickle.com or emailing hello@hudsonpickle.com.

Whether you’re a seasoned pickleball player or looking to try out the sport for the first time, the Hudson Pickle tournament fundraiser promises a day of fun, competition, and community support. Don’t miss out on this exciting event that brings together pickleball enthusiasts and supporters of the Kids’ Club for a great cause.
