Hoiana Resort & Golf in Vietnam has recently unveiled its state-of-the-art Hoiana Pickleball Court, featuring eight premium indoor and outdoor courts. The grand opening of this facility was attended by esteemed guests, including Mr. Tao Viet Hai, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Quang Nam, and Mr. Jan David, Founder of Pickleball Global and the World Pickleball Championship.
The Hoiana Pickleball Court is set to host the World Pickleball Championship in January 2025, attracting top players from eight countries and regions. This announcement was made during the opening ceremony, where Hoiana Resort & Golf was named the title sponsor for the prestigious tournament.
In addition to promoting sports and wellness, Hoiana Resort & Golf also signed a talent development sponsorship with 16-year-old Sophia Phuong Anh, Vietnam’s youngest professional pickleball star. The resort has partnered with ePGA – Eric’s Pickleball & Golf Academy to make pickleball more accessible to the community, organizing tournaments and programs for youth, students, and families.
